Jeevan Vikas Dnyan Prasarak Mandal, Akola.
Jeevan Vikas Dnyan Prasarak Mandal, Akola was established in 1983 with a major aim to provide a high-quality, multi-dimensional education based on purely Indian culture.
With pioneer efforts and devotion of Shri. Vishnu Mehere, Shri. B.V. Paraskar, Shri. Arun Deshpande and with the major contribution of Mr. Uttamchandji Agrawal, the Uttamchand Rajeshwar English Primary School was started in 1985. With the major contribution by Shri. Shankarlalji Agrawal, S.R.A. English Medium High School was founded in 1992. To prepare an educational, moral and national base of students, Vivekanand Sanskar Kendra was started in 1995.
The schools flourished due to the successful administration and devoted efforts by ex-H.M. Mrs. Nathani, Mrs. Shruti Bhat, Mrs. Kalpana Shukla and the present Principal Mrs. Sarita Warankar and their co-workers.

As part of the school’s mission of imparting quality education for all-round development of students in a positive learning environment, the school has always stressed appointing well-qualified, trained and devoted staff. Their dedicated work has strengthened academic excellence year by year, with S.S.C. board examination results consistently around 95–100% as stated by the institution.

Sports & Student Achievement
The school gives equal importance to sports education. Its softball and ball badminton teams have reached state and national levels. The school achieved first place at Nashik at national level for indoor cricket in 2018. The institution also records international sporting achievement by Mast. Akshay S. Thakare in International Jeet-Kun-Do in Bangkok in 2018 and national baseball selection of Miss. Sakshi A. Gite. Annual medical check-ups are also conducted for students.

The school has its own building with sufficient accommodation, furniture, a well-equipped laboratory, library and a 20,000-square-foot playground with playing equipment for children. To meet the needs of increasing student strength and additional classrooms, the mother institute has constructed a new building in Mehere Nagar (Canal Road) for pre-primary students.

Openwings — workshops, seminars and innovative activities
The school schedules seminars and innovative activities during the academic session for teachers and students in association with Openwings, the Center of Excellence in Research and Training (OCERT). The institution has stated that founder directors Dr. Pradip Awachar, child activist and counsellor, and Kanchan Patokar, ex-Principal and director, along with their team, conduct workshops and related activities for the school community.
