A journey built on community support
Hearty greetings to everyone! I am overwhelmed by the love and kindness of the people who have been our well-wishers for more than 35 years during the sentimental journey of Rajeshwar Convent, the first English-medium school in the old city area of Akola.
Rajeshwar Convent runs under Jeevan Vikas Dnyan Prasarak Mandal, founded with the aim of providing quality education in old city Akola. In 1983, the first brick for Rajeshwar Convent was laid, beginning a journey to impart high-level education and build students for the cause of nation-building.
This institute was the first to provide English-medium education in the old city area. Our continuing effort is to maintain its “community school” status, welcoming students from all strata of life with a minimum-fee structure. This is possible through dedicated staff members and the cooperation of parents. As the world changes, we must move forward while keeping in touch with Indian traditions.

Rajeshwar Convent was set up in 1983 to provide quality education where all students, with the least economic burden, can achieve supreme status in all sections of life. Our main struggle started from the downtrodden section, to uplift all children towards a high profile of life.
We strive to make a better future for every pupil. To achieve this, we maintain a child-friendly environment in our school. We appreciate every small attempt by every child to make learning joyful. We maintain a democratic school climate where staff members, parents and students work in coordination and enhance the dignity of the school.

At Rajeshwar, every student is given special care. We provide a platform for students to develop through curricular and extra-curricular activities with minimum school fees. We recognize our responsibility towards society and build moral values and a sense of social responsibility among students. We work to make every child smile and shine.
