1. PURPOSE

An effective whole-school child protection policy is one which provides clear direction to staff and others about expected behaviour when dealing with child protection issues. An effective policy also makes explicit the school's commitment to the development of good practice and sound procedures. This ensures that child protection concerns, referrals and monitoring may be handled sensitively, professionally and in ways which support the needs of the child.

Our commitment to children's safety

As per our policy, we ensure the safety and security of our children and endeavor support to our pupils through overall positive school environment, child-centered curriculum and counselling to handle their day to day situations and balance them mentally, socially and emotionally.

In regard to execute the policy effectively and productively, we expect the responsible role both from the parents and the students. So it will always be expected that in favour of the well being of a child whenever the school will invite the role of the parents in whatever manner like attending the parents' workshop, personal counselling and other such activities, they are supposed to respond positively. Parents should also speak in one voice with the school whenever the guidelines and instructions are issued to students in concern to their behavioural and emotional issues.

School strongly believes that the healthy relationship and open communication between school and parents can ensure the well being and safety of the child. Afterall the child's safety is our top priority and it should be realized by both the school and parents in equal manner.
